General Scope

Flooring crew: remove the sheet-vinyl flooring and prepare the floor for resilient flooring in the quantities below. Clean the floor before preparation only where separately listed. Provide the sheet-vinyl replacement quantity, silicone caulking and metal transition strips shown for each room. Confirm material selection and installation scope with the PM before release.

Cleaning handoff: final residential construction cleaning is separately listed for all three rooms. PM to assign the responsible crew; do not merge final cleaning with the pre-install floor-cleaning task.

Joinery handoff: the Sewing Room package lists two interior door slabs to detach and reset. Retain the existing slabs; this is not an allowance for two new doors.

Quantities kept separate

607.28 SFFloor removal and preparation, each. Same area, different operations.
698.37 SFSheet-vinyl replacement quantity. Do not replace this with the removal total.
303.94 SFSeparately listed pre-install floor cleaning, two rooms only.

Silicone caulking: 24.00 LF · metal transitions: 9.00 LF · final cleaning: 607.28 SF. These are separate task totals, not one combined quantity.

PM review before release

Sewing Room / stairs: the source package includes stairs context. Keep the listed quantities together until the PM confirms the work boundaries; do not invent a room/stair split. The room and stairs must be reviewed together before work is assigned.

Material quantity: replacement totals exceed removal by 91.09 SF. Preserve both. Confirm layout, waste and purchasing requirements rather than asserting why the estimate differs.

Assignment: confirm flooring, final cleaning and door detach/reset responsibilities, material selection and site conditions. Added protection, disposal or other work must be explicitly reviewed; it is not silently inserted into this excerpt.

Contractor notes

Verify site quantities and substrate condition. Report discrepancies to the PM. Preserve detach/reset items and flag access or sequencing conflicts before work starts.
